>>Marvette Coley was born and raised in Wilson, North Carolina. She believes that women have the power to not only be a part of the city of Wilson’s growth, but to spearhead it. Two years ago, she started an organization called >>Positive Women, Positive Results, Inc., which teaches teen girls how to dress to impress, apply for college, and how to write a resume. When 120 teen girls attended one meeting, Marvette decided it was time to apply for non-profit status. She is glad God is using her to help her community. She decided to join Women AdvaNCe because she wants to connect with women in her community who share her drive for making a difference.
